Wuhan scientists have identified a new type of coronavirus called NeoCov in South Africa. New NeoCov strain is so powerful that it can weep approx. 20% of the population, but we don’t need to be panic. Till now, it can only infect animals. But NeoCoV has to complete a few steps to infect us. Only one mutation is not enough to spread, like Omicron and Covid 19. This is a new war against humanity.
The NeoCov virus is not new. It was discovered in outbreaks in the middle eastern countries in 2012 and 2015. Neo Cov was previously found in bat populations and was known to infect only animals, according to researchers of Wuhan University and the Chinese academy of sciences institute of biophysics. But in case the Neocov mutates multiple times, and somehow it becomes capable of infecting humans, then no antibodies we have developed against NeoCoV in a short time. According to Chinese researchers, Neocov carries the potential of mortality rate one in every three infected person will die.
Now scientists are working hard to find a proper cure for NeoCov, just like COVID-19. So if we follow proper guidelines, maybe NeoCov will never come to India. Thank You.
