Maria Salomea Skłodowska Curie was a great physicist and chemist from France who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. Her contribution to radioactivity is infinite. Marie won the 1911 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for her discovery of the elements polonium and radium. He was born on 7 November 1867 and died on 4 July 1934.
